Daniel is the Founder and Principal at Clear-Vu Lighting (CVL), a New York-based manufacturer of advanced lighting products for the transit, life science, and construction markets. At CVL, Daniel has spearheaded the development of innovative lighting applications including the first LED-based work lamp powered by a 600VDC third rail, the first LED-based lighting system for major construction projects, and the first “clean room” fixture designed from the ground up utilizing the benefits of LED technology. Daniel was awarded the Engineering News Record’s Top 25 Newsmakers in 2012 and is a holder of numerous patents in the field of lighting. Daniel has previously received a degree of B.S. in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
